You may ask us to stop non-essential marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe method in the message or contacting us. 8. International transfers
taxismap operates in an international technology environment. Personal data may therefore be accessed or processed outside the country where it was collected. Before a cross-border transfer, we assess the purpose, recipient, destination, sensitivity, security measures and applicable transfer rules. Where required, we use recognised transfer mechanisms, contractual protections and supplementary technical or organisational safeguards. You may contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data, subject to legal and confidentiality limits.
9. Retention and deletion
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose. Retention decisions consider the status of an enquiry or business relationship, record type, security and audit needs, contractual commitments, applicable limitation periods, legal holds and statutory requirements. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted, anonymised or securely isolated from routine use. Limited copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until they are overwritten under the backup cycle.
10. Security and incident response
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse. Measures are selected in proportion to the data and processing risk and may include access controls, encryption in transit, logging, environment separation, supplier review, credential management, backup and recovery procedures, and incident response.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will investigate, contain and document it and notify the relevant authority and affected individuals when applicable law requires notification.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to or a copy of personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent and data portability. You may also have the right to opt out of certain marketing, sale, sharing or targeted advertising activities and to complain to a privacy regulator.
